I am in Western Canada too and thinking of buying my first Quad, probably next year. Can you please tell me the name of the dealer you bought yours from?

Also how do you like it? I have heard good things about Cats. The only negative comment I have read was that the exhaust was a bit loud. Have you found this to be the case?

I would like to know the dealer's name, because there are fewer dealers for Cats and I would like to go to a good one.

The dealer I got mine from is Howies Marine in Prince George B.C. So far I love my machine, But if you buy one the muffler mod is highly advisable, it makes it a bit louder but not REALLY loud. When I bought mine he threw in a helmet also. If I have any questions about my machine all I have to do is ask and they are more than happy to help me out, I was playing with my jetting a bit and he let my borrow (no charge) 3 different jets to find the best one. I think I have that one figured now, so next I am just going to do a clutch mod and thats about it.

 

about a month ago i swamped my cat and the reason was that the duck bill drain plug fell out of the bottem of the air box, when i told the dealer about it and asked him to order me a new one. he said go take one out of that one over there and we'll cover it under warrenty, because that should not have happend.now hows that for service.

 

i live in a small town (about 500 people). My dealer is right across the street, and they are great. I dropped my bike off monday because of a problem i was having. I walked over on thursday and they told me that the front diff. was shot and that they needed to order a new one. He said that arctic cat was sending them a new one that would be here on monday but "if you need it by the weekend, I'll call around and see if any other dealers have one for ya" ! I told him that it wasn't a big deal, that is service! Great dealership.
