Adjusting Clutch...250/300
1. Using an impact driver, remove the cover. Account for O-ring.
2. Loosen the jam nut securing the adjustment screw.
3. Rotate the adjustment screw clockwise until it stops.
4. Rotate the adjustment screw counterclockwise 1/8 turn; then lock the jam nut securing the adjustment screw.
5. Secure the cover making sure the O-ring is properly positioned.
Now it should be adjusted correctly, take it for a test drive to ensure accurate adjustment.
I hope this helps. How many miles on the engine? And if it still silps, the plates are worn out or you are not using the proper oil. If you are using a Synthetic oil, it must be wet clutch approved..
