One thing I have noticed in these posts is there are 3 types of suspensions being talked about here but some are thinking it is only 2.

Solid swing arm suspension, Semi-independent suspension (Arctic cat calls it ACT= Arctic Cat Tecnologies) and Independent suspension or IRS.

I know that along with A/C Kawasaki has semi-independent suspesion on some of there quads. Most quads run Solid Swing arm but closely followed by IRS units.
