Where in Canada get a person obtain quotes for atv insurance.It seems everything is geared towards the American market.I doubt
the American companies would consider the canadian market a good investment due to our dollar strength and other issues.

 

I used to have my ATV insurance here in Alberta with Primmum (formerly Canada Casualty Insurance). This past year I switched to Monnex and received slightly better rates (only because I have all insurance there - home, auto, etc.). Primmum and Monnex are owned by the same parent company, but Monnex will only insure ATVs if you have other insurance with them).

 

I didn't find any online places to get quotes for atv insurance. I just called my insurance broker and asked him. Call around or ask your local atv club.

 

I'm with Statefarm Insurance and they operated Canada wide so you should have no trouble getting insurance with them unless you have a 'bad' history. Ie DUI,criminal record.. you know the usual stuff lOL
I pay $247 a year, and it actaully dropped from last year on my 2000 500Man

 

I got my ATV insurance with TD Insurance in Nova Scotia. It is costing me $174 a year for the 2003 Arctic Cat and my trailer. Their number is 1-866-454-8910.

 

WOW I will have to do more shopping around I see,I am paying just over a dollar a day for my atv insurance...and that is with having all my insurance through the same company...hmmmmmm.

 

I'm with Portage la Prairie out of Manitoba and pay just a bit over $350 cdn a year but that is covering everything IE: my damage, plpd, theft and fire.

I got mine through Allstate. The only thing they asked me was if it was a ute or sport atv. They will not insure sport atv's. Atleast that is what they told me anyway.
