Cat 650 limp mode problem fix?
OK Guys, I got to thinking (not a good idea for me normally) and, I decided to take my machine back to my dealer. I bought it from them because of their good rep for service. The mechanic had NO clue about the reset plug. I handed him the part number and he is gonna get me one next day air. The fact that he did not know anything about this both surprised and annoyed me. The guy is sharp. Knows his way around anything motorcycle and 4-wheeler related. The thing is, Arctic Cat has not let the dealers know about this yet (so he says). And, he doesnt even have a service manual on the new machines. Should I be nervous? Remember, all of the locals LOVE this place for thier commitment to service.
Thanks,

Cat 650 limp mode problem fix?
Mine only has 78 miles on it. I ordered a plug this week, should be in the first of the week. My dealer didn't know anything about it. I took it in yesterday to get a spacer removed, could hear a little belt sound when taking off or coming to a stop and the engine braking wasn't so good. Now it is much better. What I don't understand is why Arctic Cat doesn't address this belt limp problem, making their customers, potential customers, and dealers feel better. My dealer said that they have had customers bringing in recall letters for things in the past and they haven't received as much as a letter about what was going on. Arctic Cat is a great machine just get your customer service together.
