No, really, I just buzzed down my road.
I tried looking in my book, but it would seem there are some pages missing. More like the whole book if you ask me. Any way what is the flashing OIL light saying? 650LE 12-03
Or am I heading to the dealer in the morning?
Thanks all....

Weary Wonderer, I'd check oil level before I took it to the dealer. If they get low on oil, they will pump most of it up into the engine and won't have enough left in the crankcase to cover the oil pick up. If level is good the get to the dealer with out firing up the motor.

Got the word this evening, it is not a sensor problem. There is actually low oil pressure. Not a good thing... I hope Arctic Cat does not expect me to feel comfortable owning a bike with an engine that already has low oil pressure and 2hrs on the engine. The owner confirmed the actual oil pressure with a manual gauge. He also stated that he compared the pressure with another 650, and it was, by his words, 3 times more than my bike.
Man I am bummed......

Weary; If it was me and I had a new engine with low oil pressure, I'd ask the dealer to tell Arctic Cat you want a new motor. The worst they can do is say" no, we will fix it only." When I was still working in the marine service industry, more often than not it was a matter of "if he bought it and something is wrong, give him the best repair deal you can. One PO'd customer tells everyone he got screwed. A happy customer tells a tenth of the people, but it is always a positive statement."

When I dropped the bike off, I had a basic plan on how to handle this. I so far have voiced my concerns of owning a bike that would need a new engine when my warranty expired. This is a once in a lifetime purchase, this bike needs to last me my lifetime. That is why I chose the bike and components.
I like what Arctic Cat has built, I know they did not build the engine, and I saw no dissatisfied Kawasaki owners out there. I will let them do what they need to do before I do any barking. I have good feelings about this company, and their products.
Thanks, and if any one has any other pointers out there I would be willing to listen.
Another thing,,, If they change the engine, it would be a reconditioned bike would it not?
Thanks…
