Default 2nd "limp mode" within 120 miles

I have 120 miles on my 650 and I got twice into limp mode, now that I have the reset plog I can reset it in a minute but it still irritating.
Both limp mode were happened at the same situation, after getting out of a off road to paved road I accalerate fast and after about 300 feet it failed. While off road I had no problem Accalerating.
One more thing that I REALY dislike about my 650 is that at even a small turn on hard road the wheel is lifting of ground, and not even at a high speed. I got suggestion at the form to pump up to 10 psi in the front tires but it didn't help. The turns are less scary and more contolable but the wheel is ............"up in the sky"

I think it's cool firing it up in a corner and the inside tire is off the ground!!!

You may want to pull off the belt cover and check the belt sensor/switch, (on top of the cover, it has a 2 wire connector)
make sure it is in the "on" position.
if it is not pull it or flip it to the "on" position.
If it's in the on position, that means it's an electrical issue!

You can try this: by the frame in front of the right rear tire under the plastic (between the tire & engine)
you will find a white 3 wire connector, disconnect it and apply some dielectric grease and reconnect.
(that's the last thing that I have done to rid myself of the problem)(so far so good)

Keep us posted whether that helps or not!!!!!!!

I too know the Limp "Home" Mode & the reset plug is a big + to get back down the trail with ease. What you may want to do, if you haven't yet, is to apply some eletrical grease to ALL of your electrical connections, starting at the battery. Do all of your harness connections & any ground wires as well. This electrical grease is what is used to seal spark plug caps & works wonders on any other type of electrical connections as well.

well i tried to prepare for limp mode i heard of grounds, elec connections ,belt switch etc when i first bought mine, i pulled every plug apart and applied electricl grease to all plug connections as well as grounds batt winch etc, then at about 150 miles i pulled the side cover and adjusted my belt by removing a shim ,well as of yesterday at 273 miles coming around a corner and 3-2-1- (limp mode) i knew my belt wasnt loose so its got to be elec problem anyway pull out the handy reset tool and presto back in action ive been thinking about that switch on the clutch cover im wondering if water is affecting it due to this is the first time limp mode happend and we were going through water 3 to 3 1/2 feet deep and not even 30 feet after limp mode happend?

What is this reset tool and where do I get it? I have a friend that just bought a 650 AC and I would like to tell him about it. Any help would be appreciated.
