That statement isn't 100% true. I had to contact Artic Cat about some early part number issues that I ran into when I replaced my stock clutch with the EPI pro clutch. I attempted to order a belt from my dealer and they needed the date of manu. of my 650 LE. Arctic Cat actually switched over to the P700 belt in DEC 03. Any AC produced before DEC had the P650 belt installed. If you order a belt now for the AC 650 you receive a P700 belt but it includes the correct shims for the secondary clutch. When I ended up getting mine, I just went to the Kawi dealer. He listed the correct shims and had everything in stock. Plus it was only $72 bucks for everything instead of over $140 at the AC dealer.
