ways to improve '04 650 performance?
#13
i was at my arctic cat dealer today...we were talkin about improving the performance on the 650. getting new exhaust wont help a whole lot just give me more noise..something that i dont want. he said goin with a clutch kit would be the best deal bc the stock clutch is pry the weakest thing on there. i am very close to getting one but wouldnt that make it kick in at a high r.p.m.? and what would the cost be on an average clutch kit?

i got a dynatek cdi on the way for mine being very patient about 245 dollars or so but i do have the hightlifter ICM power pak module and i can vouch for that i got oversized tires on and i used to be able to get 48 going down my driveway now i can get 51 and when i put it in low range i can do a wheelystand with it but unless you are capable of soldering then i would go with the dynatek cdi i guess that will make it run cooler take care of the limp mode problems and gain about the same hp as the highlifter module and well the highlifter module runs a lil over 100 dollars and i remember some guy on here talking bout how he took two short glasspacks and created dual exhaust he said he gained alot of hp but the noise factor would come into play goodluck hope this is somewhat helpful
