Default Starting issues

I had a problem a few months ago with my 03 400. Here's the link:
http://forums.atvconnection.com/mess...&keyword1=2003

Well I had sometime yesterday to fix the gear selector and when I put it back together, it wouldn't start.
The problem is that I have no spark at the plug. What should I be checking next?

Could it be that I did somethng to the harness going to the stator? Does anyone know what the ohm readings should be for the stator?
It has a blue, white, yellow & green wires on 1 plug and 3 black wires on the other.

Any ideas cat gurus??

Thanks for any help

Sounds to me like your Neutral Safety Switch in the shifting linkage may be out of adjustment. Did you try pulling on the brake and starting it? If it starts with the brake applied, I would say you need an adjustment.
Good Luck

The neutral safety switch prevents the engine from cranking, not shut off the spark. Could you have blown a fuse somehow? First check all you fuses. If that's not it you probably got a wire either hooked up wrong or pinched. Take the selector back apart and try it.

Thanks for the suggetions, it does crank over just fine but does not have any spark at the plug.
Fuses all checked out fine, I tried reading out the wiring going back to the stator and I have
continuity on the blue/white but nothing on the green/yellow.

I ordered a service manual but until then I don't know what the readings should be.
Anybody have a idea on this.

If the stator or any of the wires are open, it means there will be no spark.

Thanks for the help Bear!!!
Tore into it again and I think I found the problem, one of the wires had pulled out of a splice. Repaired it and it now
reads about 195 ohms.

Won't know for sure till later on in the week, waiting for the gasket to come in.

I'll let you know when I get it all back together.
