say whats the requirement for your physical fitness for max score ,just curious ,compared to Army standard ,We have 3 events push ups ,sit ups ,and 2-mile run , I'm 43 Dee how old are you ?

 

We currently have three events as well; pull ups (max 20 - each are dead hand with elboes straight), crunches (2 minutes max of 100), and a three mile run (max score 18 minutes or less). there is a push to have this changed, and have more "combat conditioning", such as a run or hike in boots with a pack, obstacle course, etc, etc..... Maybe even have some sort of run, shoot (for score), run, shoot, etc. I'm 44.

Hey Dee I'd join you for that ,really bad when you know there all the way up here in Minnesota ,

Yea the Army has been trying to change to a multi event of like 6 different ones ,
the Army bases there events on a points scale you have to score above 60 points in each event , I've maintained my score in the 290 plus usually one of the highest in the company ,with 300 hundred points as a maximum ,which I shoot for every time ,
Sad dtate of affairs when I can beat the 18 to 20 plus year olds ,

 

I'm the same way - I can still beat a whole lot of the young guys. I surprise them every time.
