650V2 cuts out periodically
Here's dynojet's instructions for their jet kit, it has a lil picture of the mix screw.
Dunno if this will help you though, I just reread your original post and you said it cuts at half throttle. Mine did it at low speeds, not medium or high.

Have you tried the red/black wire short on the roll over sensor yet, as that is clearly the problem. Don't go messing with a dynojet kit for this problem.
This is a known bug at Dynatec, but it is the AC rollover sensor that is causing the problem.
I used one of those blue inline splice things that clips closed to perform the short.
I garantee you this will fix the problem.
The sensor is behind the tail light

I am unaware of a problem associated with the rollover sensor, could you elaborate on it please?

650V2 cuts out periodically
I worked with Scott from Dynatec extensively with a problem associated to the Dynatec CDI causeing the ignition to cut out intermittently on AC650V2 atv's. I had a Dynatec on the Prairie I had and loved it so when I purchased a new AC 650V2 I decided I was going to purchase one for it.
After installing it I noticed intermittent ignition cut outs for 1 to several seconds on the machine. This would occur at any time, going fast, going slow, over bumps, on level ground.
I called Dynatec and told them about the problem, they told me to send the unit in for testing, which no failure. I asked them to send me a new one anyways and they complyed. The new one did the same thing. I called Dynatec again and they told me of a problem they were aware of with the AC that the rollover sensor was too sensitive and caused intermittent spikes to be sent to the CDI which would correctly shut down the ignition. They could not explain why it would not happen on the stock CDI.
Scott had me short the two wires together at the rollover sensor in the back of the machine. (red & Black). This worked perfectly I never had another cutout.
Not all AC 650v2's have this problem so a new rollover sensor might fix the problem as well but that is kind of costly.
