Default 650 v2 clutch springs

I have heard of different clutch springs, colors and manufacturers. Do these make a big difference? Are the hard to change? Do these go hand in hand with changing out the CDI?

Springs will change your clutches shifting, I went with EPI Pink/Black which is slightly more aggressive than stock. I love it. The thing really tears up when I hammer down on it now.

You do not need the cdi to enjoy new clutch springs.

i got the same clutch setup as chumly the pink primary and black secondary and like this clutch setup. the pink primary spring is very easy to install you don't even need to take the clutch out of the machine just pull the cover off and the tension is set at 0 so you just put the new one in and done. the secondary is a lil more complicated. it is under pressure so you need to either A build your own clutch compression tool or B purchase one. i built my own using a piece of pipe a lag bolt couple nuts and some washers, alot of ppl use PVC pipe. you can do searches in the kawisaki forum on how to do it they got pictures and everything over there. as for the cdi you don't need to get one to conjoin with the clutching but almost everyone puts one in. it is basically alot of horsepower that you can plug into in just 30 seconds.

Thankyou weez440. I appreciate your information. Does the Dyna Tek replace the stock CDI or is it in conjunction with?
