belt warning

Default belt warning

i just purchased a 2007 650 h1. at 48 miles the fan fuse blew and belt warning lamp came on. i replaced fuse and road a little more and belt lamp went off, should i be concerned?

If it becomes a habit I would be concerned but a one time thing, I would just make a mental note to keep observing.

Oh and carry a couple extra fuses just in case. They are cheaper than being towed home..

Default belt warning

How does a ATV know if you need a belt soon? I ride snowmobiles alot and with people who have band new AC sleds and we only know we need a belt when the belt blows up. It sounds like a gimmick feature to me.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

My "Check engine" light on my Ford f-150 has been on for 2 years, now I think I have problems if it ever went out.

I think you could be right, also I think under the dash, there is a reset button for your F150...

Better yet, just put some black electrician tape over the led for the 'check engine'...
