That is why I got a 400, so that I could play with my winch (it is no fun and a waste to have a winch and never use it - I didn't get it for decoration), I love winches, when I get bored, and want to impress my neighbors, I even hook it to a tree and winch my 4wheeler back and forth in the driveway, or I hook it to my SUV and winch it in the driveway, I can even winch one of my 4x4 pickups if I want or one of my cars. plus the $2000 that I saved on the origional purchace I can put a lot of gas in, and was able to afford to buy a winch, and it isn't broken down all the time replacing axles and blown transfer cases (I can ride and not sit around the house watching TV). And when people see me with it they don't consider me vain, but a real down to earth person. And if I cruise I can get 22pmg... And if need be I can go 50mph, and if I want to go 70 or 80 mph on my 4wheeler I can do that too (all I have to do is load it in the back of one of my pickups - I just have someone drive the pickup while I sit on the 4wheeler) and if the bump is big enough I can even pull a wheelie - lol..... And if the stream that I want to cross is too deep, I just go get one of my horses and swim across... I can afford my horses from the money I saved...

 

I will say that the Xtreme 3000# is a much, much more superior winch than my Venom 2500# was - just no comparison. The other day when I got stuck on purpose to test it - the thing pulled a lot stronger (even a single line pull) than my Venom 2500# could with a snatchblock. I am so much happier with the Xtreme.

 

You would need a winch on that ultra super big bore even more. Who is going to pull out all the 400's?

No one, the 400 owners saved so much money on the initial purchace they can buy winches for themselves. They saved so much that they could even hire a helicopter to air lift them out if they wanted too. They can call in a helicopter with the new cell phone or their new 2 meter two way radio that they bought from their savings. I am going to buy a second winch for the back with my savings - lol....
