long time reader, first time poster....i have a new 500 that i've ridden twice. the first time i tore the left front rubber boot, second time i tore the left rear boot. anybody else experiencing troubles with this? i was in some fairly rough areas, but i think these things should hold up better...

 

They do hold up pretty good. Brush piles will raise heck with them though, especially if sticks are pointing back toward you.
