Default clutch help 06 650 H1

anyone know how to take the belt off of secondary to remove a shim the belt rides a bit low between the sheeves ,. tops out about 50 mph,. much faster when i purchased it ,.. i plow snow with it too,. so the belts tend to wear a bit faster ,.. anyway,. any help is greatly appreciated

Havent taken mine apart yet but there is a guy that races, His shop is in Judsonia Arkansas and has done many of them. I'm waiting till fall to do mine. He is gonna put the clutch kit on there for larger mud tires. I have seen one he did and it made a big difference..

well,. the truth is mine is still under warranty but the customer service here is shoddy at best .i live i alaska so your clutch man really cant help me , we learn to do it ourselves up here lol.i plow snow with it in the winter ,which it does very well,. havent had a snowstorm i cant plow yet,..lol,.its a little hard on the belts plowing with it , so i need to know how to go about getting the old belt off,. or pulling the secondary clutch out to take a shim out ,.. still looking for a little help,.. the engine spins when trying to loosen the bolt holding it on im sure theres a trick to it , so any help is appreciated,. guess i might have to invest in a service manuel,..

I have one, moving my daughter today but will see what it says tonight and let you know. I do know you have to use an air wrench. saw a friend do his and he simply put a rag on it and held it with his left hand and air wrench in right hand. came loose right away.
Would love to go halibut fishing up there. To me they look like realy big flounder. too damn cold up there to live though. Can you tell I grew up on the gulf coast. LOL...

hmmm,. guess i will have to try the air wrench ,. as for the cold ,. its not that bad!!,..u get used to it ,the 24/7 daylight during the summmers more than make up for it ,..and as for the halibut fishing its been pretty good to me lately ,. went out of Seward once ,. and then Homer the next time ,.. on a charter ,.i dont own my own boat,.. yet,.my wife caught the big one ,.. 162 lbs,.. mine was 90lbs,. then some smaller ones ,. still got a freezer full of meat ,..lol,. anyway ,. thanks for the help,.. oh ,. u should try the Salmon shark fishing too,. havent tried it just yet ,. hoping to this summer ,. heard they are like fighting a Marlin ,. with bigger teeth lol
