Whats up my buddy has a 04 650v keeps eating belts shreading them to look like licorice problem with clutch or maybe pieces still in there by the way the spare he had sat on the rack four a few months??? that's smart too!

What year is your 650v2 ? The Kawasaki drivetrain had a gearing problem in 2005 , but it was fixed for the 2006 model ; and AC dropped the 650v2 in 2007 ; other thing that could cause this problem is you have to ride in low gear under 40 MPH to keep the belt from wearing out fast !.....
