Over heating
#13
Does anybody elses bike seem to overheat when idling for extended periods? ie. Winch operations around the house. I checked the radiator and removed it and washed everything and changed coolant but seems to do the same thing. I am thinking that the fan switch is going out because the fan comes on but doesn't seem to pull as much air as before. Any thoughts or similar occurences?

Yea, thats the number one thing to do. While you are at the mud hole find a got water hole and run threw there a good bit. When I do that I never have to rinse my radiator out. But when I take the back way out of "The Indian Mounds"(where I ride) there are no water holes, just mud holes. So thats an 8mile ride back to my house, or about a 12-15 mile ride to the car wash to clean my radiator. Thats more than enough time for it to harden and make you use a low presure garden hose on it to clean it out.
