On the front the 589's are 27-9-12,on the back they are 27-11-12.I paid about 640$ including freight for the wheels and tires.I measured the height ang got about 25.5".I did not measure the width but the 9" 589s's appear much wider than the stock 489 25-10-12.They actually seem to fit the machine pretty well,I could'nt make the tires rub by turning hard either way and there seemed to plenty of clearance;but I did't actually ride on the trails with them.If the wheels fit without having to modify my machine I would probably just keep them. The only other concern I have now is can I actually run true 27" tires without putting a lift kit on the A.C.? Is anyone else running .190 aluminum on the back? Did you change lug bolts on the right rear or just ride em with half a lug nut to hold the wheel on?

I would not ride them with half a lug on. Just too much chance of the them backing off.

I just found out my steels no longer have a buyer. If you steel want them I would be willing to trade, but I still don't like them. Since mine has lug bolts instead of your lug nuts/studs I can mount them on mine easier.

BTW: I don't like the ITP Steels cause they are made for more of a rock crawler that runs a softer/lower psi tire. They are VERY strong, but too strong for my needs, mudding.

My 28x12x12(blown up 27x12x12" Tri-Claws), didn't rub untill I got spacers. Now, with spacers and a lift they fit.

BONER,
I might be interested in the ITP steel wheels you have. What's the story and such? Tell me a little about them. I am looking for tires as we discussed and I am kicking around the idea of wheels too. Let me know if you are still trying to sell them and what size and description, etc. Thanks!!

Sorry Retreaver, I had worked out a deal with some one and was waiting till weshipped them the say anything. The problem is the guy backed out today so now I'm looking for a tradee again.

Don't take offense to this, but I would like to get the best deal possible for me. What I'm REALY looking for is 4 12x6.5" wheels, just like my stockers. I don't care about the color, but I would like to get this size first if possible.

If I can get aluminum so much the better, I'll take the added width for the drop in weight. I just hope I don't bend/inlarge the lug holes when jumping, cause I've heard of this being a problem before.
