Default need help with choke assembly on handle bars.

I have a 2006 650 v2. I had to replace the choke cable. I can't figure out how to get the handle bar assembly back together. There seems to be a small black ramp looking thing with a spring underneath it on the bottom part of the assembly that the bottom of the c of the choke lever hits against. I can't get the two pieces of the assembly to go together. Please help!!!

Check out the parts microfiche diagrams on the website www.brownsleisureworld.com for the handlebar switch assembly. I looked at it but did not see the part you are describing. the diagram may help you put it back together.

The ramp thing is a switch, You have to put the bottom half of the switch on the choke lever. Hook the cable in the lever then put the top half on. It is hard to find the hole in the handle bar that locks the switch in place.
