Default H1 650 Fan problem

I was riding the other day and my fan was working and shortly after i got out of a deep creek that i was stuck in for a bit, the fan never kicked in again the rest of day and my temp light kept blinking. I checked the fuse for the fan and it was still good. Anyone know what the problem might be? I haven't checked my coolant level yet so idk if it's low and a sensor or something isn't being set to kick the fan in now or what. I just know my wheeler got really hot so i had to turn it off a few times to let it sit.

Cool

Check for DEBRIS in the fan shroud. It's sound's like either your fan is being blocked, or it fried before the fuse had a chance to pop.

Checking coolant level can't hurt either. You may have leak somewheres.

good luck

Alright thanks, I'll take a look. I know the front of the radiator wasn't plugged at all and was clean and it was working when i went into the deep water cause i heard it smacking the water lol. Think when i dipped the front end under it possibly did something to it then?

most likely the fan was on when you went into the water. When that happens there is to much resistance on the fan and blows the fuse. Check the fuse, ill bet thats all it is and as cups said make sure the radiator is clean. I usually run a garden hose on mine for a bit. yes ,make sure it has coolant as well. mine blew once before when i went into a mud hole and realized it was running hot(fuse blew) and when i got home coolant level was down alot. Oh and i keep extra fuses in my storage box just incase, you should to.

Yes the fan i believe was on when i went into the water but I did check the fuse and it was ok but i replaced it with another one anyway just incase and still never kicked in that day. I am pretty sure i need to add fluid cause i do remember it blowing some out of the overfill hose. Hopefully it's something simple.
