i have a speedwerx clutch kit for my 700. running 28" swamplites. i really dont think the 700 needed it but i got it anyways to help save the life of the belt. Im not sure how fast it ran stock because when i got it broke in i took it out to Wyoming and ran around in the snow. Never got full throttle on level ground. When i got home i put the kit in. The guy said it was slower to him,but i still hit 60mph(the odometer said) a few times. mostly hit around 55 mph. if i had my gps it would probably say faster. Mine is the suzuki motor if it matters.

I installed the EPI high altitude kit in my 07 700 and noticed a big difference in acceleration and much better engine braking. I was running 27" Dirt Devils. I never really noticed a difference in top speed and I could hit 60 on the speedo so that is fast enough for me on a big utility. I installed the high altitude kit because I do most of my riding from 5,000 to 11,000. Well worth the money!
