weez is your fuel tank the 6.5 gallon mounted in the back between the frame and rear diff , plastic's and rear rack ?

Also is the tool tray bolted over the battery , fuel filter next to the starter selininold or starter relay ?

The reason i asked these question's is that's where my tank and fuel filter , starter relay , tool tray and fuel and fuel hose/electric choke and vacume line's are located on my 2006 AC 400 FIS Auto 4x4 !

I know that your 700 has a throddle body efi sytem instead of the carburator model on my 06' AC 400 and your 700 efi doesn't need a choke , my 400 was hard to start from day 1. if i didn't ride every day the clock that draw's power even when the key is turned off and number 2. if i didn't start it up and ride at least 2 mile's the charge the battery back to the voltage it had before starting the engine !

The choke/electric / enrichener fuel line that goes to the choke would slowly drain the fuel back to the fuel filter because of the cheap fuel hard plactic fuel and vent line's on these model's , my owner's manual call's for replacing these line's every 2 yrs. my fuel line that come's from the fuel filter and goes to the carburator and the hose that goes to the choke/enrichner had to be replaced in the first year ; the one that was routed around the air intake and hooked to the carb went bad first .

I first noticed that with the seat removed i saw that fuel was seeping around the fuel filter , then when i was was showing my brother - inlaw how it was seeping where the fuel line was hooked to the fuel filter the one that was routed around the air intake to the carb ; my brother - inlaw ran his finger up the line and told me the hose was leaking higher up the hose i stepped over on the right side and the hose split and started spraying fuel onto the air intake and shut the engine down !

My brother - inlaw went back to his house and came back with a reel/spool with about 20 ft. long of GoodYear Rubber 1/4 inch ID and enough smal automotive clamp's to replace every fuel and vacume hose on the quad , it's now hold's the fuel pressure that goes to the choke ; it's really improved the starting since replacing all those cheap hard plastic hoes that every manufacter's now a day's use on motorcycles and quad's !

One other thing that i've changed the cheap vented O.E.M. battery to a Duralast sealed battery from Auto Zone , and weez the first filled my tank for the first time i over filled the tank and rode about 20 mile's and while i was riding i could smell a very strong that made me sick and very dizzy ; when i got back home i didn't think to check for a leak but the next morning i went out for another ride and i only had one bar showing on the gauge the night before was still showing when i got home it was showing over 3 quarter's of a tank !

I could smell a strong odor of gas and there were a small drip of fuel coming from the instrucment pod it was up in the high 90's the day before , and i got out my owner's manual and fold the section that had the fillup proceedjure ; and it this warning about filling the tank you where only to fill up to where you could just see gas at the bottom of the filler spout any more than that especilly on hout day's if you went past this mark it would cause a sifaning efect and run down to the reserve mark before it would stopping the leak !

weez i hope this is of some hope for you i would follow these tip's for filling the tank and change those cheap hard plastic fuel and vent line's with the GoodYear Rubber automotive type hose and clamp's i hope that everyone on the forums have a good Labor Day , have a good and safe Holiday ; i'll be keeping you all on the forums in my prayer's have full with your familie's !

thanks for all the help guys, something took over my priority list on it i have about 120 miles on it and i get the luxary of replacing another rubber boot. can you believe the luck i beat the hell out of my 650 for 2500 miles and never replaced one boot and here i been just cruising with this one and get to replace 2. anyways enough ranting and raving. what i decided i am going to do is i am going to put an inline fuel filter halfway up the breather line. the idea behind this is that i am hoping the filter restricts it enough to keep it from getting up that high and also the filter itself will create a miniature holding tank. i will try that and let you guys know how it works.

come to think of it, my dealer put an inline fuel filter in on mine as well. guess it just allows some air space.
