I have a 2006 Arctic Cat 500 TBX and it starts when it is cold and idles for 45 sec to a minute or so and then dies and won't start up again. It did sit for about 6 months so it could have bad fuel in it but it will run if you keep on the throttle, but will not idle at all. I have rode it around and got it pretty warm and it will start again once it is warm if you pump the throttle but it won't even try to idle. It also backfired a few times when revved up in neutral. Anyone have any suggestions?? I thought maybe it was the choke but I don't know. I don't really want to buy a new one if it is something else.
