I have been told this motor is from Arctic Cat 400 2002 year model. But i have been trying to confirm that by trying find a similar image on internet and its resembling 500cc model. any one can firmly confirm what engine is this. my plan is to use this on a kids buggy build and i want to start ordering parts like carb etc for this to work. exact model of the engine will help me not wasting money on the parts which won't match. thanks for the help.

 

According to that number on the engine it is a 400.

Also look at the base of cylinder and will cc stamped in case if 400 maybe have 392cc or something like that

 

I agree with it being a 400, it looks exactly like my 2002 AC 400 engine. I believe the 500s have a black instead of gray/ silver cylinder.
