I would like to know if anyone knows where to purchase a new rocker style switch made by warn for a 2000# winch? I have had one on backorder from Cabela's since August and now they say it won't be available until mid-Nov. Also tried DennisKirk, they told me too it would be Nov. til available.

 

Cancel your order, friend, and buy the upgrade kit in the 2002 AC accessory book. It comes with much heavier wiring, a heavier contactor (not solenoid), and a rocker switch that screws under your headlight/kill switch unit. Installation is much cleaner, and it even comes with a wiring harness so you can just plug and play. It's $100 and money well spent. I hooked mine up last weekend in about an hour.

 

I got that rocker switch from Warn/AC and it fits very nice you will really like it.

Okay, I called my AC dealer and asked about the 2002 upgrade kit for my warn winch.He told me he has had one on backorder for over a month already. If anyone knows a dealer that has one in stock would you please give me his name and phone number. Thank you for the advice on the AC kit.

 

To be honest with you, my dealer stripped a new winch for the parts I needed. He said he'll replace the parts when his kits arrive. That's just the way this dealer is, you might be able to talk your dealer into the same deal.
