Rides4fun,
I like all the extra electronic features that you dislike. But thats why they make so many differant types of ATVS,to please a variety of riders taste.

Stock tires NEVER leave the showroom floor on any 4x4 ATV I've ever owned, the Grizz will be no exception.

Im not in a hurry to purchase another 4x4 ATV.My next one will be my last one for a very long time.So I want to get this one right.Maybe by than,AC will have a locker mode for this ATV and performance might be a little stronger?

Merry Christmas,
Bill

I doubted that the 02 models would be any faster than the previous, that is one reason I went with the Grizz. The locker too, but I wanted to have the fastest quad around as well. Nobody around here has a Prairie, and probably won't. Most of them ride 300's and stuff. I know three other guys that have grizzlies now, and they are all more than pleased. Good luck with it if thats what you get Bill. Hopefully you will have better luck than with that sportsman.

*** UPDATE ***

OK, this quads kicks major butt !!! The ride is so so smooth and the ground clearance is awesome. My friend couln't get the Rubicon to test it against but he got the 400 foreman. It was funny my quad could go up a snow covered hill faster is 2wd than the honda could in 4wd. It might have something to do with his crappy stock tires. Also where I would just touch the snow with the skid plate his quad would just plow though it, that foreman is so low. On small jumps the suspension just soakes it all up like nothing. It never even came close to bottoming out. The power is great, just like my 98 quadrunner but this cat seems to be geared a little lower. Tomorrow I try out the big tires, my outlaws !!! I'll take pictures of my quad then. Its almost time for the family supper so I better go. I'll post another update when I get back to Gillam, with pictures !!!

Awesome bbertram.

I love going through the technical stuff, pointing right at the deep ruts and rocks. Where most tracks go around, I create fresh new ones straight through. Most people who ride with me, have to be careful, not to follow my lead, as they will bottom out or get beat up. Also, I usually have to wait after blasting through a strech of technical stuff. They have really done it right, I hope more people get to ride these new i models.

**** UPDATE ****

I now have pictures of my quad, they aren't the greatest quality but I will post some better ones this week. These pictures are all with my outlaws on. The rear ITP rims are offset, I didn't know this until I put them on my quad. The quad is really wide with these tires mounted. Goto the link bellow and click on ATVs and enjoy.

Man that thing is wide! I guess you have the wide offset rims in the rear. Are you going to leave it like that or change the rims? I put my 589s on my sons 250 4x4 and it looked about as wide.

Rides for fun, where can you get the rear bumper for $59 everybody around here and the catalog say $79. I would pay that but $79 seemed a little steep for me.

My dealer sells them for $59, they do direct shipping of parts if you want (no tax, should offset any shipping charges, they don't charge handling).

You think $59 is low, you should see cost (I need to start selling AC parts, dang).
