I read on CNN last night (that scrolling thing at the bottom). That Arctic Cat was recalling 15,500 of it's 2002 ATV's due to a potential Brake failure problem. I have searched all over and can't verify it on websites, but I don't think CNN would be that inaccurate.

Anyone else heard anything?

I had a customer that came in today that seen the same thing. There is nothing in our records about the 2002s having this problem. It was supposed to be on the 2001 models. The only break related problem on the 2002 models so far is a foot brake mounted tab that needs to be bent 1/8" forward to prevent the blowing of the main fuse. I'll keep you guys posted on anything I hear. I may try to call Arctic Cat up monday to see if there is any information on this.

Nope, this one is for 15,500 2002 models:
Dec '02 AC Recall on Potential Leaky Brakes

My model is A2002ISM4AUSG and fortunately wasn't in the list (unless they're doing a complete swap out of the whole ATV)
