I think I just found my next new quad. But I'm still keeping my Arctic Cat 500.

It looked pretty neat, but it wasn't anything that really blew my mind. Just an updated honda 300. The thing that sucks here is that we heard that honda might release 2-6 new models. Well, here's 4 of them, but the sad thing is that its just 4 versions of the same thing. I bet its a good bike, but I wouldn't trade down for one. I would if I had an AC 300 though.

Orange? What the hell were they thinking? Not even the red Rancher looks good. I hope ther is a way to put Recon plastic on it. I hope the fender flares will fit the Recons.

Andy, I was talking about the Rubicun more than I was talking about Rancher series.

OK, I saw it on the honda web page. It looks like it will absolutely be the quad to beat, but I would look for a price range of $6900 or higher for it. On paper, it sounds like its the best quad ever built (for its purpose that is). No belt slipping, powerfull four valve design. liquid cooled. One question, why the hell didn't honda put disc brakes on it? Thats dumb i think. Sure they don'thave brake problems, but I must admit that discs are better. It looked pretty mean from what bit of the picture I could see. Looked like it had a push bar design front rack, and the rest of the racks looked like the rancher series. I will say that my predetermined opinion will state the Foreman Rubicon 500 as the best bike available when it comes out. On the other hand, I wouldn't pay that much $$ for any 4-wheeler, so My AC 500 will remain under ownership. The thing that the Polaris folks will bitch about is that this new honda isn't as good as a Sportsman because it has a limited slip front differential. Well, limited slip is still as good as what the majority of 4x4 pickups have, and I don't think that small ability or the 2wd option is even 1/4 enough of a difference to bring down the new honda. The next thing Polaris owners will bitch about is that everyone is jumping on the Honda bandwagon, and that ATV magazines will pick it cause they are loyal to honda. Horse Crap. This is going to be the one to beat. Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki, and AC owners wont bitch about anything, because they aren't that way. They don't have that insecurity complex, and don't get jealous as quick. Now, not all the polaris guys will gripe, but a bunch will. Mark my word. They have already started to do it. This post isn't intended to offend, it is merely a prediction of things to come. Personally, I think its awesome, but I already have a good enough bike. I need a new truck instead.

What is the AP front diff. on the new Rubicon? Is this better than limited slip? (ANYTHING IS BETTER THAN LS)
