I'm going to change it this week. I'll be using AC 10w40 oil this time, but after the 100 mile mark, I'm switching to Mobil 1.

Thanks for the help and info!

I wouldn't worry about the Fram filter. It meets or exceeds the engine manufacturers specifications. If you're worried about the Fram filter just change the oil more often than recommended.

The STP number is SMO18, if you want another filter number.

Fram filters have weak, glued cardboard endcaps that leak unfiltered oil back into the system, especially under high pressure. Cut one open after you have used it and see. I've cut open three of them from my 3 vehicles after 3,000 miles of use, and one had the endcap completely separated and leaking and another had it leaking. The third was ok. They were three different filter sizes, too, so I fear the problem across their product line. That kind of quality goes nowhere near my engines. Most quality brands use metal endcaps that do not leak.

Here is a couple more numbers for filters that have been on here at one time or another. The
NAPA Gold 1359 for about $6.00, The WIX FILTER # 51359

Although I have not used either of these two yet I would say wix makes the best filter and I'm pretty sure wix makes NAPA also.
