Default More on belt binding/chirping

Just mounted a 54" warn plow on my 02 500. Plows snow like nobody's business but I might have a problem. When I shift from low to reverse after pushing snow the belt chirps while trying to engage. Anyone else have this problem and what should I look for when I get it apart?

#2 - when it gets pretty cold (less than 20 deg) it has a tendency to foul the spark plug before it can get warmed up. I put the stock jet back in for the winter (150) and running a KN filter with an outerwear pre-filter. With the weather below freezing and at 5000' altitude I wouldn't think its running to rich. Any ideas.

AHHH, the dreaded belt chirp or bark!!! This problem is not really a problem, but more of an annoyance. If you do a search for "belt chirp" "tranny noise" you will find that there are many auto owners that experience the same thing.

I was pretty worried, much like you until I found out what the cause is. Here is a link to a thread that describes it pretty well...Belt chirp and here is one more...chirp chirp bark

Hope this eases your mind a bit Bighole!~!
