I built some mud gaurds that attach to the sides of the radiator and fan. They fit in right beside the winch and brakets. Its unbelieveable how much cleaner you keep you radiator. after a hard days ride i am still able to see through the fins! It helps bug time

i made mine out of black tractor trailor mud flaps. im sure if you can find some old 1/4 inch plastic type of material you could do the same. next time you are on the interstate keep your eyes open for some. ANy way. remove your grill screen then i cut a piece about 6 inches by 6 inches and placed it along side of the radior "top to bottom and to the front of the bike to the back of the fan and exceding it by about 3 inches. Then I took a felt pin and made an outline or jig where it needs to be cut to fit the contour of the brakets, winch, and bumper. On the right side of the bike i cutt around the winch so i could still get to the two wire connectors to clean the off. Then just cutt the markings with a jig saw and drilled so holes where i could put zip ties in to hold the gaurds in place, and your done. its kinda hard to explan i will take so pictures and show you if i get a chance
