BIGRED110,
I have no records of a SuperiorBlue color option for the 1984 model ATC110, nor do I recollect ever seeing one. I have seen a few 1983 models but never a 1984.
I checked Honda records and they do not show a Blue option for 1984 either.....only 1983. I then checked the Parts Microfilm of the '84 110 and no mention is made about available blue plastic.....but it is listed on the 1983 Microfilm.
If you do in fact own a 1984 SuperiorBlue 110, check your frame VIN# and your Engine# for verification.
If all shows the frame and engine to be 1984, get back with me and I will send you a form to fill out for you to return. No pics needed, just #s. Although, we are talking about a machine that is now 20 years old, it is still important for us to keep proper records of what is what.
I have several brochures of ATC models, but as luck would have it, I don't have a brochure for the 1984 ATC110.
I have ran across a few errors over the years with records, but nothing so drastic as not mentioning a color option.
You may have something that no one has ever known about!?! [Or I am suffering from brain fade...and going paranoid over a blue 110]

BIGRED110,
I looked at your picture last night and that in fact IS a 1984 110. The 110 logo on the side of the rear fenders gives it away. The 1983 Blue 110 did not have this, and neither did the Red one.
I copied the two clean pics that the logo is easily seen in. I sent them to a buddy of mine at American Honda. He called me about an hour later and said that he has some photo copies of the 1984 110 brochure. It does have a picture of the blue one on the brochure.......However, no where does any Honda ID Guides or any of his own information to source parts with list a Blue model for 1984. Only 1983.
You have an odd ball there on your hands........which in this case, is a good thing.
There may be other Blue '84s out there, but if so, I haven't seen them.

The only bad thing about is you can't buy blue fenders for it AAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh well thats why we got ebay I guess then, but it's still hard to find a blue front fender though.
I'm not planning on selling it any time soon.
And thanks for clearing that up for me.

No. Thank you for owning an obviously rare 1984 SuperiorBlue ATC110.
Now that we have concrete evidence of it's existance, I have went bak and edited the 1984 110 info above regarding the color options for 1984.

can your buddy get a copy of the infamous TRX500R brochure that is rumored to have VERY limmited circulation in or around 1989? I love to get a copy of that if indeed it does exist! It was supposed to be honda's answer to the quadzilla: a honda, 500cc two stroke 'racer'...aahhh...what might have been.

I strive to keep the ATC alive...LOL
Personally, I just still like the ATCs. It's what I and alot of others here grew up on.
When I was young, if you had a 1980 ATC185, you were the baddest ***** around. Ofcourse, a year later the 250R arrived, but still.....no one had one of those in my area because they were too much for most and no one but bike riders knew how to operate a clutch on a 3 wheeler.
My friend at AH and I have been close friends for years. He was once the head of Honda's R&D regarding the ATVs and was co-director of the customer research team regarding the CR dirtbikes. Ofcourse, this was in the late 1980s and he has been a Regional sales manager since 1997 I believe.
I have heard many things they have worked on over the years. Some that were good decisions and some that were bad in my opinion.
The 250R was very close to reappearing in 1993 along with the 300EX from what I have been told, but it was axed after hell raising by the guys who were working on the 400EXP project, which if you are unfamiliar with, is an enviromentally friendly two stroke engine.
It's sad that neither the re-release of the 250R OR the EXP ever made it to the prodution line.

i would love to see what the 1993 250r or 400EXP were to look like. got anything on that? nothing on a trx500r, eh? people keep saying it was to come out before all hell broke loose back in the late 80's... that really sucked. IMO, the golden age of atving was in 88-89. we are just now geting back to that (level of competition) in 2004. Sure, Im glad its back on track and our bikes today are more technologically advanced, but face it, we should have had this stuff we are seeing today- back in the 90's....just think if the atv market would have never crashed back in 88-89...what would we have out now?
