oh no man, Im not calling you a liar but thats impossible unless you had 23inch tires and LRD's ultimate rev eletrical system.

 

i ran 75.8 MPH on stock rear tires, 14/38 gearing with a nasty cross wind. This was calculated with a GPS and the bike was blowing the tires off in every gear. I'm sure I have plenty of power to pull a solid 80mph and if you want to break out a book and wait for 90mph, it would probably pull it.

 

What does everyone run for rear sprokets that isnt stock?

BTW, for those of you who dont know, 14/38 is not stock gearing.

I have to say this just because nobody else did........... I have never ever seen a 250r run, although i have seen may rolling at about 80mph, but it depends on the year.

 

Just bought sidewinder set of 15 tooth front and 39 tooth rear (tool steel). I had a 14/37 combo and with the stock tires it was barely able to get on the pipe in 6th gear. If you completely rev'd 5th gear out and didn't let off the gas at all when shifting to 6th it would barely get up on the pipe in 6th. But when it did, HOLY SH_____T! Batman. Scary Fast. Somehow scarier than WOT on the 2004 Arctic Cat F7 down an icy county road. Don't ask how though.

My buddy who weighs 220 (I weight about 195) couldn't get it to pull in 6th. I've since put some way smaller flat track tires on, so we'll see how she runs now.
