Just picked up my first ATC70 and have a problem.
I get fuel (only reserve switch works) have electronic
ignition. Some compression, Put new needle and internals
in carb. Won't start with eather in plug hole. If I tow
it it will seem to run but won't stay on its own running.

any suggestions?

 

there are a few things that you need to make sure of. One, if the engine has spark. Two, the timing on the engine. Three is fuel which you say you have under control. I just got an 85 ATC 70 a month ago and had to replace coil, points and condenser to get mine running. Also i have a manual for your machine so if you run into problems feel free to ask.
