Default 350X headlight

Ticks me off!! Frickin headlight bulds where like $16 a piece and i needed both of them - so I put them in last noght and fired the bike up - turned the head light on and I had light "cool" i thought and turned them off - rode around for a while and when I was coming back I hit the lights and then the throttle - lights blinked and out the went - DAMN!!!! $32 down the drain - gonna call the guy i got the bike from and chew on him a little bit - "there aint nothing wrong with the bike - headlights dont work?? HHMM - must be cause i had one burn out a while ago and didnt replace it - everything should be good" what a dill weed!! guess I get to chase some wire adn see what the heck is going on. Anyone ever replace the headlight assembly with off road lights?? Thinking of doing that - cheaper than buying new bulbs - heck $16 each was a discoung - local Honda raper wanted $22 each at first - well when i got my jaw off of the parts counter adn told him no freeking way he came down to $16 each - damn - just ticks me off big time!!!!

What are the stock headlight in that 350x? Watts wise...........If they are like 35W each, I would be real carfull putting a couple aftermarket 55W on there, you will toast the stator! I want to find a LOW watt usage; high watt output light for my wifes LT230; but I am waiting for them to go down in price.....I found some that use 30W and give out 75W of light.....but at 100+ dollars ...they can keep them!..LOL
