how much more speed..

Default how much more speed..

i have a honda 185s wut im about to fix up really nice with clutch kit,new rings,chain,both sprockets front sprocket has 13 teeth and rear has 38 like a 200x,and a dg rcm pipe.How much more hp and speed will i get out of it when it does atleast 45 or 50.

the 200x had 12/40 gears on it..........but the 13/38 will be pretty darn close.......if the olny mod you have is the exhaust and the rest is just fresh stock stuff, +2 HP if jetted correct would be a close guess. not sure on your speed, what was your old gearing with the 45-50mph?

My 200x did 66mph with stock gearing, hollow exhaust, jetted, ported and polished head, .030 overbore, and the old balloon tires

well i got a k&n i aint put on yet, its bored to a 200 with a wiseco piston and rings,and has a 200x carb on it.

If you can get ahold of a good used 200x cam, it would make a big difference

do u know where i could find one and if i do would i have to exchange timing chains and all?

e-bay is the best place, and it is a dirrect swap....no other parts needed. then jet your carb up a touch

ahh ok i got couple of last questions is a 185 and 200x motor almost the same r wut?are they cluth driven?also would the rear sprocket off a 200x fit my 185s?

yes the 185 and 200x ENGINE (its an engine not a motor [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]) are very close.......the bores are different, cams, and carb.....other that that the same! What year is your 185s?
