I am working on two 110's for my little brothers. One is an 82 and one an 84. The problem is that the both have white smokes that gets worse as the warm up. They do, however, seem to run well. The white smoke on the 82 smells pretty bad but on the 84 doesn't really smell that much at all. Could this be a ring problem? The 84 looks to have maybe been swamped (maybe water in the oil?) so I will change the oil. Not too sure about the 82 though. Thanks for any input.

well the white smoke could be the rings or valve seats. It could be just that it sat for a while and the rings or valves went bad. You said in other that you have had the head off you could see if there is oil on top of the piston. The smoke getting worse while it gets warmer could be that the oil is thining up and blowing by more. Other then that I wouldnt know what to do.
