The tire on the front of my 250sx is shot. I need a new one but don't know what to get. The size is 22-11-8. With that said there are many variations in the actual size of 22-11-8. Between I and my freinds trikes with 22-11-8 tires on them there are 3 different sizes of that tire. Some taller and some skinnier. You get what i'm saying? So i really can't just order a new 22-11-8 tire and expect that it will fit the front of my sx. Please steer me in the right direction. I need the most reasonably priced too. Thanks.

They dont seem to have the 22-11-8 though.:-(

 

Depends on who you are asking because I have heard that from several people over the years.
The thing is that Nankang offers two versions of that tire.


One is known as just the "regular" N700. This tire is just low quality offorad tire mainly used on small quads.

The other is known as the N700 "heavy duty"...although it isn't stated on the tire itself.

Same name.................. two versions.

You need to ask for the heavy duty version. It is ONLY offered in a 22x11-8 and 25x12-9.
These tires were originally designed for the front of the 250SX and 250 BigRed trikes and several distributors carry them so look around a bit more and I am sure you can find one.
