Default 84 atc200es front wheel

Howdy guys, glad I found this forum, total noob here. Last night someone gave me the above trike, front tire is toasted, BUT, it came with a new tire. OK, here is dumb question of the month(maybe year)-how the heck do you get the wheel off?? One side of the axle has a castlenut, the other side is round with a hole through it (that is the drum brake side). I took the castle nut off, tried tapping-no dice, tried reversing it and unscrewing it with the pin holding the axle-no dice. How does this come off so I can get the wheel off and change the tire?

I feel so dumb,.I mean serious retard-o, that is why I am KLUTZORAMA! hahaha! any help,. thanks in advance and etc.

If you can turn the axel bolt, thats a good sign. Put the nut on backwards just a couple of threads and tap on it a little harder. The axel bolt needs to slide out. Sometimes I turn the bolt with a icepick or something when tapping, once it starts to move take the nut off and pull the axel out. Clean it with WD40.

I was able to remove the front wheel on my 200M without removing the front axle. It was quite a while ago and I dont remember exactly how I did it though??? All I remember is that I tried for the longest time to get the axle loose but it wouldnt budge, I think I let the air out of the tire then pivoted the right hand fork complete with axle and wheel around the left fork.
