does anyone have any info on setting or adjusting the timing on a 82 honda 100?

 

With engine warmed up
get an inductive timing light
connect to a battery (Normal automotive timing light)
remove the plug with screw driver on left forward side of engine case
remove CDI cover plate on cly head
set timing to the F mark at idle
To advance or retard timing loosen the screws on the pickup plate and rotate accordingly
This is shown in the manual and is simple
