After reading posts"I'm 50 and want to race", I posted a reply. I've enjoyed reading and learning from this forum. Could all of the users of this forum via this forum come together and orginize an event. Set a date/completly put it together/and actually have an ATV CONNECTION EVENT.It would be a first if it could be done. Ideas exchanged, classes established, completely put together by forum users and come together for an event.I will donate my facility for this event.Reading all of the posts would be an education in itself.

Dirtgirl could meet my wife who grounded me and teach her to ride. The facility can contain a large number of people-so how about creating a FIRST!-You will be the track orginizers. How will you put all of this together.Text

Prescott is 100 miles N. of Shreveport. I'm new at this and did not know of forum members having events. I still would like to work with local in putting something together in this part of the country.

Dodge, go to the WHERE TO RIDE forum and post a question for Arkansas. Try talking to the people there. Im sure there are a few members willing to help you get something together. When you do pm and let me know where and when.

Thanks for your reply.I have 75 acres at my place.I'm cutting my hay crop this week and I'm laying out a crosscountry (cross pasture) heads up racing. The ground is smooth with terraces for jumping. It merges back into the track area-down a TT lane and circles back into the cross-pasture. I can make a 2 mile raceway.I haven't been cahrging people for coming down. I like the noise and the imput. Nerby,a friend has 8-miles of trails on a 1000 acre farm. He is not into racing like me but it is open.If you know a group that would like a day down south-call me.A group would have plenty of imput and I'm listening. Thanks

Dodge did you ever post on the WHERE TO RIDE forum? That is where I meet alot of the riders in my area. Then we all started meeting at different riding areas.

Big DS-The rural area around here has people with racers, but just don't know how to get involved. I'm now taking my 75 acres and making a cross pasture track. It will be probable 2 miles of racing-across terraces, pond banks and quite a course. I'm retired and have nothing else to do but play.I invite people to my farm just for some noise and fun. There is no charge. I have found that people who like this sport can give imput-and create quite a playground. So give me shout. Oh there is one person here. Rides a Banchee-Someone would have to be good to beat him. He refuses to lose and thus far,he has beat everyone. His skills come from riding pipelines and terraces and being 75% nuts!.

What type of racing does the banshee owner do. Have a few friends that could give him a run at any style of racing.
