building a jump. do i need i down slope?
Blaster2fast didn't take care of his quad that is why it was a pos. and he was always to much of a dumb *** to put it back together right so things just kept breaking. my blaster was awesome and ran great. neva had a problem. and he rebuilt it wrong like 4 times. i ride with him all the time and ride just as hard if not harder.

The approach to your jump needs to be at least as long as your quad. If not, your front springs are recoiling while your rear is compressing. Then when your rear end recoils it will pitch up and try and throw you over the bars. It's also very hard on the wrists to hit a short faced jump.

I build about a 5 foot tall ramp and I needed a landing ramp but wasnt sure where to put it. Another problem is after hitting it a few times I always want to jump bigger and farther, so this is what I did. I got a big piece of plywood(I use 4'x8'), and built the landing on top of it. I cut a hole in the front of the board and when I wanted it longer all I did was hook a chain to it and to my Raptor and pulled it however far I wanted it.
