Default need help please piston & rings

bored .080 over (68 mm) hello i work in a machine shop and i redone cylinder in my 1998 blaster. i polished out all scrathes and then crosshatched cylinder. my question is this??

how long after i install new piston and rings before i will be able to hammer on the throttle like old times??

how long should i ride easy for rings to seat??? thanks for any advice.

When I had my blaster I would take it easy for about a day Like ride for 10 min let cool ride another 10 let and just repete that for a day and then it should be ready to rock

My 2 cents would be: Use a non synthetic oil. The cheapo petroleum based stuff at the grocery store to be exact <G>. Run a tankfull of that (usually from 20:1 to 32:1) through it then go to a good synthetic (maxima super-M/klotz R-50/Amsoil to name a few) at their recommended mix ratio. The petro based oil will allow the rings to seat.
During the first tank, don't be afraid to rev it, just don't sustain a high rev.
And I do agree with a cpl. cooldowns and re-torqueing of the head bolts.
