Wife and I just bought 2 04 Eigers from a local dealer. Got them both for 4750 a piece. Hope thats a good price.
I do have a couple of questions though. Winches, they want like 500 something installed, is that too much? If so where is a good site to get winches, plows and maybe windshields.
Oh yea anyone else in central Wi ready to go riding when the trails are open, or know of anywhere to ride now?
Thanks ahead of time for the parts answers.

The price of a winch depends on the size of the winch. The mounting plates price will vary from winch to winch and catalog to catalog. I'm not sure how much they think they deserve for installation.
Here are a few places where winches are found. Ronnies.com, Rockymountainatv.com, Shadetreepowersports.com, Denniskirk.com, Probass or Basspro.com, Cabelas.com.
Here is an example from RMountain: Ramsey 2500lb winch without wireless remote is $320.99 and then the mounting plate for the Eiger is $41.99. I'm not sure if this includes the roller fairlead.
Warn 2500lb winch is $279.99 and then the mounting plate is $37.99 for the Eiger.
All the other products will also be on the sites. (plows, windshields, etc..)

That sounds like a good price for the eigers you got. As far as the winches are concerned, that seems too high, but I have only bought one winch ever and it was with my new kawasaki prairie 700. It was a warn 2500 and was 300.00 installed with taxes and everything. But, it was a promotion at the time I bought my quad. Congrads on the quads, have fun and be safe.

The eiger is a great machine for the price. I also took the free rider's training course and received an additional $100. The 04's are prewired for a winch (macho idea imo), so get the best price on the winch you want and mount it yourself. I have a warn 2500, but I think superwench or ramsey might have a 3000. You probably already read on this forum to install an inline fuel filter - very cheap mod which is easy to do. Heated grips are a great add-on that increases the comfort of riding when its chilly. Just be sure to mount the high/low switch somewhere on the left side so you can switch it on and off without slowing down. Go Packers.
