Kazuma Falcon 90
Welp, first let me say, I bought this little quad from Raceway ATV almost 2 years ago for my then-turning-8-years-old daughter. Almost 2 years later and many hours of use, the little quad is still running strong with very few problems-- just little things like the cheesy rear chain-gaurd (has broken twice from rocks, no biggie) I had to re-weld the "goose neck" area under the handle bars where the steering stem welds to it (again, no biggie), a broken rear plastic fender (fixed it), and thats about it. Couldn't be happier so far with the $700 investment. However, the quad has been sitting untouched for about 4 months, then this past weekend we decided to pull it out and go riding-- after charging the battery up (was a bit low) and taking it out to the field, it decided it wasn't going to idle anymore. This is a brand new problem since letting it sit those 4 months, it was running just fine when we parked it. It starts up ok (alittle feathering of the throttle) and runs great as long as you're giving it gas--- but let off the throttle and it dies almost immediately. I've tried adjusting the carbuerator, but without really knowing what I'm doing, I probably just made it worse. Does the carb just need to be cleaned out? Any help would be appreciated.
I need to get it running good, we're going to sell it to my neighbor and buy a new Jetmoto 150 here in a month or so-- my daughter has outgrown the little Kazuma. Thanks!
