Heres another question. How important is having reverse? Having it on the 250 is awsome. Should I consider the 400 quads since they do have it?

I haven't had a quad with reverse since I got back into it 4 years ago. About the only time I miss it is in the mud or deeper snow. I view it as a convenience feature and not really a necessity, others will disagree for trailriding though. The new Kawie 450 has reverse, and the 700R Raptor has reverse, a more forgiving ride, and will lug around at slower speeds better with your kid/wife. Both 400's have similar qualities to the raptor, just less HP. Yes, for most trailriding,, a 400 has all the power and handling you really need.
