For a first quad, the 400ex would be better for you than the z. Just a little less maintenance to do.

 

Easiest and cheapest way to change the color is cover it with mud and dirt. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

you cant paint it and graphics is the best way to go

and also what about the raptor 350? or is the 400ex/z400 in a completly diffrent league

 

stick with a 400 you wont be too pleased with a 350 i dont think

 

ok but idk i might have to go with a z400 since the only true dealer close to me is a (my house not my dads) is a suzuki/yamaha dealer

to paint it get a couple cans of the color spray paint you want, paint it, let it set for a day or so, and then clearcoat it and you won't have a problem unless you get wd-40 on it. it took me 4 cans of black spraypaint to paint my warrior(i painted literally all the plastic) and one can of clearcoat. total=$5.83 including tax

 

well it doent matter anymore if i get a z400 since i will probably get a 07 which is available in black
