how is this quad? It says it has 4 wheel drive, but ive read that 4 wheel isnt good on a sport?? i dont know where i read this... http://www.scottpowersports.co...veh=53946&CatDesc=ATVs</end quote></div>
I looked at the link you posted and that is the yamaha yfz450. That is a mis print on the specs...it is not a 4 wheel drive...my friend has one and he loves it! yamaha makes a good sport quad also so I dont think you could go wrong there either. Sit on the different ones out there and see which one suits you best.

Far from it, the 450 is the
4-stroke, titanium 5-valve, DOHC engine used it Yamaha's race serious 450 Motocross bikes. It has a high compression ratio and short skirt piston for high reving. The Raptors SOHC motors are recreational motors.
Even the 660 Raptor motors were derived from a Recreational Dual purpose motorcycle. Thats why these Motocross based 450s and 525 engines can beat ATVs with much larger displacements.

You have to watch the 69 a month deal. It is only for 2 years then your payment jumps up.
The 450 needs to be revved out to make power whereas the raptor 700 makes power all over the place, It is a torque monster compared to the 450.
I would compare the 450 to a crotch rocket in that you need to keep the revs up to make the powerband usable. The 700 can be lugged down and ridden on slower trails.
